I found this series of work quite interesting in the way the cracks seem to take on their own life and move in a way that suits them. The first piece has thick cracks but the overall shape is intact, however the second piece has broken away more significantly and cracked and moved further and further apart. I found this work quite interesting to consider if and how it could be worn on the body? Could this piece be worn, or would it always be something that sits stationary in a glass cabinet?....I feel like it comments on the fragility of the world around us and how when something breaks or is pushed it continues to expand and move until it is something new.
