Sunday - 15th March

Took a look at the work of Nicole Schuster.

It is very structural, artificially structured, yet also natural at the same time. It is very abstract with the curves yet the straight construct-like forms that jut out of the metal like buildings. It makes the entire piece look like a landscape.

It changes up the whole 'jewellery' aspect and makes it less beautiful, but very eerie and fascinating at the same time with its form.

I enjoy her work because it is quite unique in comparison to other work, and her pieces don't seem overly large, but just enough so as to make it look different, yet still sit comfortably within the boundaries of what most people consider a 'ring', or pendant, etc.
