The meaning behind the pieces!!!
When I first stepped in and looked around the 'exhibition into the Zoo' at CODA Museum - Felieke van der Leest; I thought ' wow, these are so cute' with a smiley face. However, after being inducted and told about her story and the meaning behind her works that make me look at them again in a different perspective and try to finger out the story behind each individual pieces. There are many sad stories behind those colourful & cute animals. there are also some very deep meaning pieces that relating to the political too. For example, the Anti-war (brooch) - holding a broken arrow and point into the middle of the world, hoping for peace.
Sadly, there is not audio that I can listen to the meaning or the story behind each individual pieces.
