Yutaka Minegeishi
Something that really stuck with me about how Yutaka works is that he lets the reduction process of carving into an object take over, with no planning.
"Function makes the form"
In this way he creates simple, almost primitive shapes out of natural materials; wood, mammoth tusk and jet. Some shapes are even whimsical in their simplicity, like this poo ring.
